Anything that really intrigues me today is related to video games and/or history. My love skills include a strong interest in storytelling that is based on my interest in historical events. I'm also intrigued by mysteries and a desire to solve them, whether they are in the real world or on the internet. Due to another pass time of playing videos games, I have developed a passion for the history for video games and their specific design. I really enjoy thinking about the mechanics of designing the setting of a game and how that impacts the storyline and what a character or party has to travel through to get to the end.
The way I see all of these skills adding up to help me in game design is that they are all pointing to the setting and theme of a video game. These skills will help me make video games naturally appealing, captivating, and interesting to the players. Because video game design is a team effort, I'll be able to work well with a lot of people and get people motivated. I will be able to give a new perspective to help solve coding problems. Most of all, my creativity and artistic ability will help me design characters and setting and give a lot of personality to the game.
