The difference between sophomore year and junior year is very noticeable. The amount of work that a junior has to manage is too much to handle without an organizational system. My poor ability to organize has caused me to struggle with school for the first two quarters. For example, I was so focused on one class that I didn’t give enough attention to another class and forget to turn something in. Then I would need to get caught up on my late assignments and the cycle would repeat itself. I’ve realized that time management and organization are really important to success.
This quarter I’m going to take a different approach to AGAD. Specifically, I’m planning out the whole quarter on a calendar and setting goals on when to finish assignments. This is relatively simple to do because of how our teacher sets up the semester. I'm going to try it out and see how well I can improve my grade.
If you may have had trouble with bad grades and can't keep up with your work, I suggest trying this out to see if keeping a calendar of stuff to do will help you finish your work and raise your grade. These links were helpful to me as I considered what I needed to change in my study habits.
